Saturday June 4th and Sunday June 5th 2011

Dear Averie and Declan,

It is so hard to believe that it is already June. These last 3 months of flown by! We have really adjusted to being a family of 4. I couldn't imagine having to more wonderful loving kids. Averie you have been so sweet and loving the last few days. You love your little brother so much and get so excited to get him up and snuggle with him. You even share your "dankie" (blanket) which is your absolute favorite thing. Declan will be sitting on the boppy and you will put your blankie on him. It is so sweet of you to share.
Declan you have become such a "chunky monkey" :). You really love to eat and smile up at me while you are eating. You are such a happy little baby and smile whenever anyone smiles at you.  You are really trying to roll over and keep trying to throw your shoulder. You love being on your mat but if you get left a little to long you get quite upset.
This last weekend we headed to Moses Lake to see GG and PopPop. Last weekend GG fell and broke her leg so Averie, you and I made casserole, spaghetti, and cookies to take over to them. We had a good time but Averie you had a hard time because PopPop had to keep running errands for GG. However, when he was there and playing with you your face would light up. Shortly after we got there on Saturday morning the ice cream truck came by. PopPop was so excited to get and ice cream with you (PopPop loves sugar just like you :)). You got a rainbow Popsicle and PopPop got a chocolate bar. Most of the weekend we spent playing in the backyard. Great Aunt Anita (PopPop sister) and Great Grandma Marie came by and visited with us. Daddy and I even went on a drive after you guys went to bed. We loved driving around and looking at houses. Maybe someday we will live there. Daddy and I sure miss the warm weather! Declan you also had a good time while we were there. Great Grandma Marie could get you to giggle and giggle at her. I think that made her weekend. You also slept really well which I was a bit nervous about. All in all we had a great weekend. Your grandparents sure love you guys and love spending time with you both.
